Sanctuary Use

You will have the use of the sanctuary for a total of two-and-one-half hours; one hour prior and 45 minutes after the ceremony (approximately 45 minutes for the ceremony).

Seating capacity is 300, with a total of 38 pews

Florist/Candles/Church Decorations

Floral Arrangements: Floral arrangements are not provided by the church but are permissible in our flower stands, adorning our candelabras or attached to bows for the pews. (You are free to rent your own floral arrangement holders, baskets, or hurricane lamps if you so desire.) Church seasonal decorations and furniture in the sanctuary are not to be removed or altered for weddings.

Decorations: Please provide your florist with the worksheet of instructions/guidelines (provided by the Church Secretary) for decorating the church. If fresh flower petals will be thrown during the service, we request that you purchase or rent an aisle runner to protect our carpeting. Fabric flower petals must be removed before leaving the premises after the wedding.

Pictures: Following the wedding pictures, please assign someone from your wedding party to remove any flowers or wedding decorations you plan to take to the reception. We do encourage you to leave two floral arrangements for our following Sunday morning service if you so desire. Please notify the church office two weeks prior to the wedding if you will be leaving floral arrangements.

Unity Candle: If you are interested in having a unity candle during the service, it is your responsibility to provide one. Unity candles can be purchased at Christian bookstores, card specialty shops, florists, and craft stores. Fourteen 12” white candles for two candelabras and two 7” candles for lighting your unity candle (located on the communion table) are provided by the church.

Photographer/Videographer

The Church Secretary provides a worksheet of instructions for you to read and then deliver to the photographer and / or videographer of your choice. The worksheet will describe in detail our church policies and some helpful instructions.

Limousine Service

Please read the worksheet provided and then give to the management of the limousine service with the instructions to pass it on to the driver of your limousine.

Bird Seed/Rice/Confetti

We do not permit birdseed, rice or confetti on the church premises.

Alcoholic Beverages

We do not permit the use of alcoholic beverages on the premises and request that the wedding party refrains from their use prior to the rehearsal and the wedding. Non-adherence to this policy will cause forfeiture of your deposit.

Marriage License

The license may be obtained at the County Courthouse several weeks in advance. They will also give you a marriage certificate to be signed by your witnesses and the pastor for your own keeping.

Be sure to bring your marriage license to the rehearsal and give it to the Wedding Coordinator. Please notify your Best Man and Maid of honor that their signatures will be required on the license and certificate after the official ceremony. The church will forward the original of your signed license to the appropriate County Recorder and keep copies on file for its official records of this legal ceremony.

Summary

Please be sure you have read the worksheets provided with your Wedding Application and deliver them promptly to the services you hire. Remember, the bride and groom are held responsible for upholding the church policies and procedures and we sincerely thank you for respecting our facility.
